This policy describes how Lurk handles information when you visit this website or use the Lurk app for Apple Watch and iPhone.

Information handled by the website

The Lurk website is a static product site. It does not ask you to create an account or submit personal information, and it does not use advertising or analytics scripts. The site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request information, such as IP address, requested URL, and browser or network details, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Information handled by the app

You can browse public Twitch streams and categories without signing in. If you choose to connect a Twitch account, Lurk uses Twitch authorization and processes the account identifiers and session credentials needed to sign in, refresh access, and sync the account with Apple Watch.

Lurk stores session credentials in the Apple Keychain on your devices. The Lurk authentication service processes authentication and session operations. Requests for Twitch streams, channels, categories, profile information, and followed channels are made to Twitch. Information available to the app depends on the features you use and the permissions you grant.

If you use chat features, your messages are sent to Twitch and are subject to Twitch’s handling of that information. Lurk is not responsible for Twitch’s independent privacy practices.

How to manage your information

You can sign out in the app to remove its locally stored session credentials. You can also manage or revoke Lurk’s access through your Twitch account settings. Some authentication or security records may be retained as needed to operate and protect the sign-in service.

Third-party services

Lurk relies on Twitch for Twitch account authorization and Twitch content. Your use of Twitch is also governed by Twitch’s Privacy Notice. Apple’s platform services are governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy information.
